DLA Piper advises Sodexo in the sale of its Worldwide Home Care division to Halifax

DLA Piper advised Sodexo, a global sustainable food company, in the sale of its Worldwide Home Care division to the Halifax Group (Halifax), a middle market private equity firm. The acquisition includes Sodexo’s subsidiaries in the US, the UK, Ireland, France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Brazil. 

Headquartered in Irvine, California, Sodexo’s home care division provides in-home care services across eight countries with over 12,000 employees, and its Worldwide Home Care division has over 700 locations around the world. In the US, Sodexo operates as a franchisor in the non-medical personal care sector with 535 franchised territories and 105 company-owned territories. Internationally, the sustainable food company offers personal and complex care in Ireland, the UK, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and France.
