DLA Piper deepens its West Coast Corporate practice with the addition of Brian Hamano
DLA Piper is growing and expanding its Los Angeles office with the arrival of Brian Hamano as partner to the firm’s Transactions Specialist subgroup within the Corporate Practice.
Hamano advises clients in connection with the federal income tax aspects of a variety of transactions, including domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity, real estate, life sciences, capital markets and blockchain transactions.
Some of his notable experience includes representing Quad-C Management in its acquisition of Astrix Technology Group; representing Empower Ltd. in its US$1.55 billion business combination with Holley; and representing StepStone Group in its acquisition of Greenspring Associates, a venture capital and growth equity firm, with US$18.9 billion of assets under management.
