DLA Piper advises Kingsrose Mining Limited on its acquisition of Element-46

Global law firm DLA Piper has advised ASX listed Kingsrose Mining Limited (ASX:KRM) on their acquisition of Element-46 Limited, a private UK company with highly prospective, green energy metals focused, exploration projects in Scandinavia.

The Penikat project in Finland is a high-grade platinum-group-elements (PGE) and nickel-copper project and the Porsanger project in Norway hosts two outcropping PGE-copper-nickel mineralised intrusions and widespread copper occurrences.

The transaction marks the first step in Kingsrose’s refreshed strategy step in our new discovery focused strategy, where it seeks to apply the proceeds of past production at Way Linggo towards acquiring and discovering exceptional new projects.  Indeed, the Penikat project, given its location and world-class grades, stands out for its potential to become a high tech, underground, low surface impact mine delivering critical metals responsibly and within Europe.”

DLA Piper’s team was led by Perth M&A and ECM partner, James Nicholls, with assistance from Kirsty Hall and Emily Donley.

James Nicholls said: “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to partner with Fabian Baker and the rest Kingsrose as it pursues its exciting pivot and diversification strategy.  We look forward to building on the success of this recent transaction and continuing to assist Kingsrose in the pursuit of its refreshed strategy.”
