“Gateway to the Land of Opportunity: Setting Up Your US Operations” Conference

On April 1, 2025, we partnered with Israeli law firm Goldfarb Gross Seligman to host an insightful conference for Israeli companies that already have—or aspire to establish—a presence in the United States. The focus was on navigating critical US tax considerations across federal, state, and local levels.

Three esteemed DLA Piper colleagues – Naftali Dembitzer, David Pope, and Ossie Ravid – traveled to Israel to join forces with notable Israeli lawyers Liat Neuwirth, Liam Schwartz, and Dr. Ayal Shenhav, delivering practical and timely insights on:

- Relocation visas for employees
- Establishing business operations
- Sales and use-tax challenges
- International VAT considerations

The conference was more than an exchange of knowledge—it was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen ties with our valued colleagues at Goldfarb Gross Seligman and highlight the breadth of DLA Piper's global capabilities.

While in Israel, our DLA Piper colleagues also met with clients and local Israeli firms in and around the Tel Aviv area, engaging in meaningful conversations and fostering new opportunities for collaboration.
