Final countdown to NIS2

Exploring the scope, requirements and preparation for the EU’s refreshed cybersecurity laws

10 September 2024,16:00 – 17:00 BST

Part of the EU’s Cybersecurity Strategy, the new NIS2 repeals and replaces the original NIS Directive (adopted in 2016) and is fast approaching. Much like its predecessor, NIS2 establishes measures for a common level of cybersecurity for critical services and infrastructure across the EU. However, its scope is significantly wider, impacting a far broader range of sectors from food and manufacturing, to managed service providers and online marketplaces to name but a few. With the October 2024 deadline for EU Member State implementation looming, the countdown for organisations to identify their own compliance obligations is already upon us. But there is still time to prepare and strategise your organisation’s compliance journey.

We are therefore delighted to invite you to our upcoming webinar hosted by the DLA Piper’s Data, Privacy and Cybersecurity group on 10 September, as we delve into the details of NIS2 and key next steps for your organisation’s compliance.

During the webinar, we will discuss the following:

  • implementation status of NIS2 across EU Member States
  • who is in scope for NIS2
  • what are the key requirements for in-scope organisations
  • what organisations can do now to prepare

Register for the event to take part in a thought-provoking discussion on the future of the evolving cybersecurity space. We look forward to your participation.
