Running a Procurement under the Procurement Act
Webinar28 February 2024, 13:00 – 14:00 GMT
The Procurement Act received Royal Assent on Thursday, 26 October 2023, marking a significant milestone in the Government's procurement reforms.
We expect the new Act will come into force on 1 October 2024, and all procurements started after that date will need to comply with the new rules. Public bodies and suppliers to them need to understand those new rules and the various steps required to run a successful procurement.
Our upcoming webinar, will provide a deep dive into the new flexibilities provided for public bodies in running procurements, how they can make best use of them, and any pitfalls to avoid. We will discuss the 18 steps of running a procurement, from planning and preparation through to award. The webinar will look at the steps public bodies must take and the ways in which suppliers can engage in the process.
This webinar is one of a series run by DLA Piper on the impact of the Procurement Act 2024.
