On the heels of our successful New York event in early January, we were thrilled to host a timely forum on Tuesday, January 30 in London on exploring ways to shift legal careers to Israel. Representatives from top Israeli law firms, foreign firms with Israeli practices, and Israel-connected companies shared their perspectives and insights with a full room of attorneys and law students. In addition to discussions about what a legal career in Israel could look like and how those looking to shift their careers to Israel can acquire necessary experience and skills, there was a focus on how to negotiate the strong cultural differences between the UK and Israel. The forum was kicked off with introductory remarks by
Jeremy Lustman, DLA Piper Partner and Head of Israel Group, and was bracketing by a networking breakfast and 1:1 meetings with presenters.
We thank Idit Arad (General Counsel, Rakuten Viber), Trevor Asserson (Senior Partner, Asserson Law Offices), Stephen Cook (General Counsel, Innovid), Ran Hai (Partner, Herzog Fox & Neeman), Shy Jackson (Partner, BCLP Law), Ron Lehmann (Partner, Fischer (FBC&Co.)), Evan Nacke (General Counsel, Gett), Etai Shay (Partner, Goldfarb Gross Seligman), and Simon Weintraub (Partner, Arnon, Tadmor-Levy) for speaking at our event and sharing their wisdom.
On Monday night ahead of the event, we shared a wonderful dinner at Tony Page at Island Grill with many of the presenters and DLA Piper UK partner
Katie Jacobson.
