Alexandra offers strategic guidance to clients across a wide array of projects, ranging from discreet initiatives to large scale ventures, with a focus on the technology and finance sectors. 

Alex advises clients on digital transformation, technology-based outsourcing projects, business process outsourcing, as well as a range of general procurement activities across the technology, finance, and consumer goods sectors. Additionally, Alex regularly provides counsel on compliance matters related to Australian privacy and data protection legislation.

Alex has completed a number of secondments supporting clients in-house technology and procurement teams.

  • Acting as part of a team that advised one of the big four banks on its contractual arrangements with one of its technology partners for ongoing management and support of application monitoring and logging tools.
  • Advising a multinational airline holding company on major digital transformation of customer interfaces. 
  • Advising a range of organisations on a variety of commercial and technology contractual arrangements, including preparing software licensing agreements, intragroup development services agreements and distribution agreements.
  • Advising a fintech start-up in an RFP process for digital transformation of core customer-facing functions of one of the big four banks. 
  • Advising a range of businesses on sourcing projects, including the Australian arm of a major UK childcare business on its RFP for various key functions, and a community-based a not-for-profit organisation on an RFP process and contractual documentation for the procurement of a new managed IT service.
  • Part of the Australia-New Zealand team advising major American clothing brand in its global data mapping and privacy compliance exercise. 
  • Advising a range of technology and consumer goods sector clients on various matters in respect of compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.
  • Advising a multinational technology and retail-focused company in relation to a range of general commercial and regulatory matters including importing products into the Australian market, second-hand and re-seller arrangements, and competition and consumer law compliance.
