Clancy works closely with clients in the technology, financial services, healthcare & life sciences and consumer goods & retail sectors. Drawing on this sector expertise, Clancy provides her clients with advice informed by key sector and market trends. She also ensures clients are proactively updated about changes in the legal and regulatory landscape, helping clients to navigate the complexity of Australian employment law as part of global workforce.

Clancy also regularly advises clients on post-employment restraints of trade, both to successfully enforce compliance with obligations of departing employees and to resist enforcement in hiring.   • Advising domestic and international financial services on executive exits, incentive arrangements, and complex employee investigations.
  • Advising various healthcare and life sciences clients on strategic employment issues including reorganisations, post-employment restraints of trade and employee misconduct.
  • Advising an international apparel retailer across the APAC region on the full range of employee relations matters including the investigation and response to allegations of systemic race discrimination and sex discrimination as well as the drafting of requisite employment documentation.
  • Acting for a significant Australian fintech business in litigation commenced by a former executive in the Federal Court of Australia.
