  • Advising a German fund on the acquisition of a City of London development property for EUR500m.
  • Advising a joint venture between a UK REIT and a non-resident investor to bring forward a mixed use development comprising 82,000 sq m of office and retail space and 800 new residential units on London’s South bank.
  • Advising Blackstone on the tax aspects of the formation of a joint venture with British Land and subsequent GBP1.3bn disposal to GIC of Blackstone’s interest in the Broadgate Estate and related development and pre-let of 5 Broadgate to UBS.
  • Advising a UK REIT on a GBP500m joint venture with a leading life sciences company to bring forward the development of new commercial life sciences building in London.
  • Advising a leading Dutch pension fund on the formation of multiple joint venture structures for investing into UK logistics assets.
  • Advising a US corporate group on the development and disposal of a City of London office building for consideration in excess of GBP800m.
  • Advising a UK REIT on the formation of a joint venture to develop and let 20 Fenchurch Street (“Walkie Talkie”) in the City of London and subsequent corporate sale to Lee Kum Kee for consideration in excess of GBP1.2bn.
