Ryan Hamieh is a member of the Canadian Corporate Crime, Compliance and Investigations Group and has a broad commercial litigation practice that focuses on personal and institutional fraud recovery, director and officer liability, compliance and contractual disputes.
Ryan has worked alongside senior counsel in representing clients in actions before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. He conducts meticulous, business-focused investigations and is committed to providing strategic guidance and practical solutions that enables companies to navigate complex legal issues effectively.
Ryan's directives involve a comprehensive approach to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) incidents, whistleblower compliance, incident investigations for serious workplace incidents, and regulatory and criminal offenses. He is adept at handling investigations and legal proceedings related to fraudulent schemes, conflicts of interest, kick-backs and bribery, asset misappropriation, regulatory non-compliance, and other corporate misconduct.
Ryan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, studying Psychology and Biology. Ryan summered and articled with the firm prior to joining as an Associate.
