DLA Piper advises STEF Group on the acquisition of TransWest in Belgium

DLA Piper has advised the STEF Group on the acquisition of TransWest, a business specialising in transport and logistics services for frozen food products in Belgium. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of October 2023.

STEF, headquartered in France, is a leader in temperature-controlled transport, logistics, and packaging services for food products. STEF currently has over 22,000 employees and operates over 270 sites in eight European countries, including a network of five sites in Belgium. The acquisition of TransWest will enable STEF to strengthen its position in Belgium and extend its range of services in the frozen foods sector and international supply chains.
