Gina Durham named to the Daily Journal’s 2024 Top Artificial Intelligence Lawyers list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that partner Gina Durham, vice chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice, was named to the Daily Journal’s 2024 Top Artificial Intelligence Lawyers list recognizing the top AI attorneys in California.

In its profile of Durham, the Daily Journal noted her background as a litigator of some of the earliest web-scraping disputes and her current role as “a trusted advisor to major companies, guiding them on how to mitigate risks associated with deploying enterprise AI solutions.”

Durham focuses her practice in the areas of trademark, copyright, right of publicity, trade dress, false advertising, and disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence. She has more than two decades of experience in disputes surrounding questions of proprietary rights in emerging technologies, from the earliest web-scraping disputes to the latest generative AI models.
