DLA Piper advises Argentum in strategic investment in UFA
DLA Piper represented Argentum in its strategic growth investment in UFA, Inc., a leading provider of mission-critical air traffic control (ATC) simulation and training software solutions to the world’s air navigation service providers, militaries, universities and major commercial integrators.
Argentum is a New York-based growth equity firm that partners with founders and entrepreneurial owners to build industry-leading business-to-business solutions and technology-enabled services companies. The investment will accelerate UFA’s product development and technology efforts, including its groundbreaking voice recognition system, image generation software and cloud-based simulation platforms, as well as expand the company’s industry-leading customer service capabilities.
UFA represents the fourth investment by Argentum Capital Partners IV, L.P. (ACP IV), Argentum’s latest fund, which recently held its initial closing.
The DLA Piper team that advised Argentum was led by partner Adam Ghander and included associates Jennifer Gardner, Kurtis Weaver and Julie Steven (all of Boston).
