Marcos Taiana holds a degree in law from the Catholic University of Argentina. He was admitted to practice law in the City of Buenos Aires and in the Province of Buenos Aires in 2018.
Mr. Taiana has advised international clients doing business in Argentina, in corporate matters including cross-border M&A and incorporations of local entities to start businesses in the country; local and international clients in corporate matters; local and international companies; and local and international clients in employment enquiries and matters.
Among other transactions, he has actively participated in the sovereign debt restructuring processes of the most important Provinces of Argentina, issuance of corporate bonds and equity and sovereign bonds (including under Reg S and Rule 144A), listing of shares in the NYSE and Buenos Aires Stock Exchange for local and foreign companies, and in local and cross-border project finance (including on Argentina’s road and highway PPP Projects) and M&A transactions.
Mr. Taiana also is regular counsel to several companies acting in the technology sector, including start ups, through out different stages of their corporate life, including legal structure, equity, convertible securities (Convertible Notes, SAFE, KISS) and financing rounds, regulatory matters and cross-border expansion.
