Matthew Cliff advises public and private sector clients on a range of commercial matters. He has particular experience working with UK Government on strategic, high-value procurements.
Matthew previously held senior public policy roles and is now a member of DLA Piper’s HM Government Steering Group, helping to enhance the firm’s offer across its UK public sector clients.
Matthew provides advice through the lifecycle of government projects, from procurement through to contract negotiation. Recent work includes working with the Ministry of Defence and HMRC on critical IT and telecoms projects and a secondment to the UK Health Security Agency.
He has worked on pro bono projects for UNICEF and UNHCR as well as providing legal advice to support the work of local charities.
