DLA Piper moves to new home in Leeds
Global law firm DLA Piper is excited to announce the opening of its new office at City Square House in the heart of Leeds. This state-of-the-art modern office space significantly expanding the firm's footprint and reaffirming its commitment to the city.
City Square House, developed over the past five years, stands as one of Leeds' most advanced and sustainable commercial buildings. Boasting an "Excellent" BREEAM rating, the building aligns with DLA Piper's sustainability goals while honouring the firm's rich history and heritage in Leeds. To minimize transport emissions, furniture and fixtures have been sourced locally wherever possible, and incorporates recycled materials and reclaimed wood, supporting the principles of the circular economy.
The new office is designed to support DLA Piper's commitment in reducing carbon emissions and is equipped with innovative features to enhance employee well-being. The energy saving Circadian lighting system, which mimics the natural progression of sunlight, adjusts to both indoor and outdoor light levels to ensure optimal lighting conditions throughout the day.
In addition to its environmental benefits, the office offers a range of amenities for employees, including multiple EV and e-bike charging points, a health and wellness suite, and terraces and open spaces designed to support neurodiverse needs. The space will also showcase artwork from local artists and people working in the office, providing them with a platform to display their work.
