DLA Piper strengthens regulatory capabilities with new partner hire in Sweden

DLA Piper has appointed Joel Montin as a partner in its Regulatory and Government Affairs practice, based in Sweden.

Joel brings extensive experience in the banking and capital markets industry, both in Sweden and internationally. He has a strong track record advising major financial institutions, investment advisors, and investment banks on a variety of matters. Joel focuses on funding and capital management, investment activities, and is well versed in the legal and regulatory aspects of derivatives and structured products, among other financial services and products. His skills are further enhanced by his previous positions at Nordea and Sweden's central bank.
