DLA Piper advises Verton Technologies on Investment by The Crosby Group
Global law firm DLA Piper has advised Verton Technologies Australia on its recent investment by The Crosby Group, a global leader in lifting, rigging, and load securement hardware backed by global investment firm KKR.
Australian-based Verton has developed and commercialised disruptive advancements in load orientation technology that remove the need for human-held tag lines in lifting applications. These innovations play a critical role in improving the safety and productivity of global lifting operations.
The Crosby Group and Verton will collaborate in the market to accelerate the adoption of this game-changing load orientation technology. By leveraging The Crosby Group’s global footprint, Verton will bring an elevated level of safety to an increasing number of workers.
DLA Piper’s team was led by Corporate partner Lyndon Masters, with senior associate Elizabeth Campbell and solicitor Mim Sherington.
Lyndon Masters said “we are thrilled to be able to support Verton Technologies in the next stage of its growth, and we look forward to see Verton continue to expand internationally.”
DLA Piper regularly advise many of the world’s best known fast growth tech companies, non-tech companies investing in technology and leading venture capital funds and corporate venture funds on fundraising, completing more than 80 deals of this kind each year.
