Dispute Resolution

  • Acting for a major contractor in ICC arbitration proceedings related to a large-scale construction project in Slovakia. The dispute concerned claims for adjustments to the contract price and additional payment valued at over USD100m.
  • Assisting a state-owned mining company based in KSA in ICC arbitration proceedings involving multiple claims and counterclaims totalling USD1bn, with the largest valued at c. USD263m, relating to the construction of a Sulphuric Acid and Power Plant.*
  • Assisting a state-owned mining company based in KSA in dispute adjudication board proceedings involving multiple claims and counterclaims, with a cumulative value over c. USD106m, relating to the construction of a Di-Ammonium Phosphate and NPK facility.*
  • Representing a Dubai based provider of third-party administration services in its claim against a healthcare insurance provider, for breach of a Third-Party Administrator Agreement governed by UAE law.*
  • Acting for a real estate investment firm based in the Netherlands in pursuing injunctive proceedings in the DIFC Courts.*
