Evan Zhao focuses on representing US and non-US institutional investors in their alternative investments. Evan's investor-side clients include sovereign wealth funds, university endowments, pension plans, and family offices. His experience extends to primary investments, co-investments, secondary transactions, continuation funds, separately managed accounts, and seed/anchor arrangements across both private and public market strategies (including buyout, venture capital, credit, real estate, infrastructure, and emerging markets).

Evan also advises sponsors in the structuring and formation of private investment funds, including both closed-end and open-end structures.

Evan is an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
