About

Karen Young is an English law qualified lawyer with around 25 years’ experience working on CEE, Russia and CIS transactions. She was formerly the Head of DLA Piper’s Finance, Projects & Restructuring practice in Russia and is now establishing a hub in Budapest for English law work generated in the CEE, as well as the SEE and CIS regions. The English law hub aims to service our clients on the spot, and thereby strengthening DLA Piper’s cross border offering in all aspects of banking & finance.

Karen has a broad range of experience covering project, trade, real estate and acquisition finance.
