Greg Young focuses his practice on sports and entertainment transactions. He represents clients in various capacities in financing, development, corporate and commercial matters involving MLB, NBA, NFL and MLS teams. Greg has represented a variety of borrowers, investors, financial institutions and issuers in connection with the development and financing of various sports stadiums and arena complexes.
Representative matters in the sports industry include transactions involving the Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs; the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers; the Los Angeles Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks, Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors; the Seattle Sounders, Philadelphia Union, Portland Timbers, Los Angeles Football Club, Orlando City SC, Inter Miami CF, San Jose Earthquakes, Nashville SC and New York City FC.
Greg also has experience representing entertainment companies, banks and institutional investors in connection with various entertainment financing transactions. Representative matters in the entertainment industry in recent years include representing Concord Music in warehouse and music library asset-backed financing transactions, and representing various film, television and music rights holders as borrowers under credit facilities.
Greg has also represented sponsors, lenders and other participants in the financing, development, construction and operation of energy and infrastructure projects, both in the United States and abroad.
