Sarah is a corporate mergers and acquisitions lawyer who advises on domestic and cross-border private treaty M&A, capital raisings, joint ventures and general corporate advisory. 

Sarah acts for clients across various industry sectors with a particular focus on the consumer goods, food and retail and infrastructure sectors.

Sarah also has significant experience in advising warranty and indemnity (W&I) insurers on M&A transactions.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising hyperscale data centre business, AirTrunk, and its investors, funds controlled by Goldman Sachs and TSSP, on the sale of a majority stake to funds managed by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets at an enterprise value of over AUD3bn.
  • Advising AirTrunk on the development of its AUD200m data centre campus in Hong Kong.
  • Advising AirTrunk in relation to its AUD300m capital raising from funds controlled by Goldman Sachs and TSSP.
  • Advising Amber Infrastructure Group and DIF Capital Partners on the acquisition of Rail First Asset Management from Anchorage Capital Partners for AUD425m.
  • Advising Amber Infrastructure Group on the acquisition of the iseek and YourDC data centre businesses.
  • Advising DIF Capital Partners on a consortium bid for Vector's smart metering business across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Advising Hickory Data Centres on the sale of a controlling share of its data centre business to US-based STACK Infrastructure.
  • Advising French dairy conglomerate Lactalis on its acquisition of the Jalna yoghurt business and related land and manufacturing assets. 
  • Advising global drinks manufacturer Refresco on its acquisition of one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of non-alcoholic beverages, Tru Blu Beverages.
  • Advising Asahi in relation to several beverage acquisitions (including StrangeLove Beverages, Green Beacon Brewing and Vodka O).
  • Advising the founders of Intrepid Travel in relation to the formation of a strategic partnership with French family office, Genairgy.
  • Advising MiniFAB, a global life-sciences business manufacturing microfluidic products, on its sale to a German based manufacturing business.
  • Acting for leading warranty & indemnity insurers in relation to a variety of M&A transactions with deal values ranging from AUD50m - AUD500m.
