Alice Villari is a Counsel within the Litigation and Regulatory department. She works in the Milan office.

Alice Villari is focuses on environmental law and occupational health and safety. During her professional experience, she has been involved in consulting, contracting, due diligence activities in the context of extraordinary transactions and litigation (administrative, civil and criminal) in the field of EHS (Environmental/Health&Safety). With specific reference to environmental law, her expertise covers, among others, environmental authorizations (IPPC, atmospheric emission authorizations, wastewater discharge authorizations), waste management systems, remediation procedures, proceedings for removal of asbestos-containing materials and soil and water pollution, as well as compliance with specific industry regulations (e.g., REACH, prevention of major accident hazards, product labelling). She has also gained significant knowledge in the oil & gas sector (research permits, prospecting and mining concessions and divestments) and in the energy sector (with reference to biomass plants and waste-to-energy).

In the Health&Safety field, she assists clients in structuring corporate organizational charts and drafting delegations and powers of attorney identifying employer or function delegates, as well as drafting contract clauses in works or service contracts. In addition, she has considerable expertise in the drafting audits and reports for supervisory bodies with particular regard to the reconnaissance of liability profiles and is involved in the drafting of special parts, protocols and procedures of Models 231 on environmental (e.g., waste management procedures) and occupational safety (e.g., procedure for conferring proxies and powers of attorney) issues.

Knowledge and experience in food and agribusiness law, especially with reference to product labelling profiles, complete her profile.

Finally, she is active in the ESG (Environmental/Social/Governance) field, having been part of teams dedicated to pro bono projects aimed at obtaining the Environmental Certification "Zero Emission Impact" and has taken part in the European consultation for the process of adoption of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive aimed at respecting human rights (including the right to a sustainable environment).
