Alexa Polenz advises institutional investors in the negotiation and structuring of alternative investments, including investments in private equity funds, venture funds, hedge funds, and other alternative investments. Alexa frequently negotiates and advises in large-scale secondary portfolio transactions and assists clients in all stages of the secondary transaction process. She also assists clients with direct and structured co-investments. Her clients include large state and local pension plans, non-US pension plans, fund of funds managers, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, asset managers, insurance companies and family offices.

Alexa frequently drafts and negotiates investment documentation including purchase agreements, limited partnership agreements and other fund governing documents, subscription agreements, private placement memoranda and side letters.
