Anna Lena Nowicki advises national and international companies in the field of commercial criminal law. 

The main focus of her work is advising companies affected by criminal offences committed by third parties or company employees. She also represents companies before investigating authorities and courts.

Another focus is advising companies on extensive internal investigations concerning detection, prosecution and prevention of internal company irregularities. In the course of this Anna Lena regularly conducts employee surveys.

As part of criminal compliance issues, Anna Lena advises companies primarily on the introduction or further development or review of compliance systems.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising an international listed company on an ongoing basis, in particular with regard to cooperation with criminal investigation authorities and courts regarding the provision of “cloud“ services.
  • Advising an international pharmaceutical manufacturer in connection with clinical trials.
  • Advising one of the world's largest manufacturers of consumer goods on criminal law and on an extensive internal investigation for its subsidiary.

Prior Experience

Anna Lena worked as a research assistant at the Philipps-University Marburg, Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law and Philosophy of Law.

She completed her legal clerkship with stations at the Marburg Public Prosecutor's Office, a Marburg defence lawyer and in a leading law firm in Frankfurt which is exclusively focused on criminal law.
