Martin founded and is CEO of the Cardiac Amyloidosis in Athletes Foundation, a charitable organization created to raise awareness for education, studies and publications focusing on cardiac amyloidosis and related cancer research.

Martin guest lectures negotiation and business law classes at Stanford University, Brigham Young University School of Business, UC Berkeley School of Law, University of San Diego and the University of Utah, and has produced content for Stanford's online entrepreneurship programs.
