Victoria Lee practices in the Calgary office’s Litigation, Arbitration, and Investigations department. Her experience encompasses a range of complex litigation and commercial disputes, with focuses on class actions defence, regulatory disputes, professional disciplinary proceedings, and construction litigation. She has assisted in actions at all levels of court in Alberta.

In her class actions work, Victoria has assisted Fortune 500 companies and other large entities in defending high-profile, high dollar-value, and multi-jurisdictional actions. Recently, she also acted as lead counsel for an Alberta-based company in a proposed multi-jurisdictional class proceeding, where she successfully obtained dismissal of the action against the company.

In her administrative and regulatory practices, Victoria has assisted clients on a wide range of matters, including procedural fairness matters involving indigenous elections procedures, disciplinary proceedings on behalf of regulatory bodies and regulated members, judicial reviews, and appeals on behalf of institutional clients. Her general litigation work has also included successful representation of clients in high-stakes and multimillion-dollar proceedings.

Victoria obtained her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, where she was awarded the Queen’s Law Prize for Highest Standing in Contracts, the David Mullan Entrance Scholarship, and placement on the Dean’s Honour List. Prior to law school, Victoria obtained her undergraduate degree from McGill University with distinction.
