Lisa LeCointe-Cephas is a crisis manager and skilled legal and compliance professional with more than 15 years of experience in the life sciences industry. She brings a practical approach and direct industry experience to the table to help pharmaceutical, biologics, and medical device companies tackle global challenges. She designs and implements risk-based compliance and governance programs such as proactive assessments, corporate policies and procedures, third party due diligence, internal and government investigations, board reporting, audits and trainings. She represents companies in regulatory enforcement and litigation matters.

Prior Experience

Lisa served as SVP, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in the Office of General Counsel for Human Health at Merck, one of the world's leading biopharmaceutical companies.

At Merck, Lisa oversaw the company's global compliance program, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations across all regions and functions. She fostered an ethical and values-based corporate culture, leading a team of experts in compliance support, whistleblower, legal compliance, and privacy matters.

Prior to serving as CECO of Merck, Lisa held multiple in-house positions at Fortune 50 life sciences companies conducting investigations, advising on regulatory requirements and supporting commercial activities.
