Allan Leal

Allan is finance partner who heads up DLA Piper’s Banking and Finance practice in Scotland.

He specialises in real estate, acquisition and trade finance and securitisation and fund finance, in Scotland, the wider UK and internationally.

Allan’s real estate experience includes dealing with a variety of major asset classes and sectors including hotel and leisure, care homes, commercial and student accommodation both on UK and European deals.

He acts for lenders, sponsors and borrowers on a number of acquisition and trade finance facilities, and many UK and international funds on the Scottish elements of complex fund financing transactions.

Allan is dual qualified in Scotland and in England and Wales.
