EXPERIENCE

  • Advising the ASX listed Pengana Capital Group (ASX:PCG) on the establishment and launch of a new investment platform to offer both retail and institutional investors investment exposure to global private credit via multiple fund offerings. This includes the initial public offering (IPO) of its innovative investment fund, the Pengana Global Private Credit Trust (ASX:PCX), a game changer for the LIC/LIT market. The structure of the fund allows investors to gain exposure to a typically illiquid global private credit offering with the flexibility to buy and sell units on the ASX, as well as an industry first ability to dispose of units off-market at the NAV price on a quarterly basis.
  • Advising Pengana on another innovative offering, 'TermPlus', an unlisted global private credit product that is unique in that it features a proprietary investment by Pengana (the Support Account) alongside the fixed Term Accounts with published targeted returns accessible to retail investors which allows TermPlus to provide multiple layers of income protection and balance support to Term Accounts holders. TermPlus is the first retail Australian Term Account investment product offering investment exposure to global private credit and as a result has the highest targeted returns in the market for Term Accounts.
  • Advising Pengana on the launch of its wholesale credit offering, the Pengana Diversified Private Credit Fund.
  • Acting for Ares Management Corporation (NYSE:ARES) on the launch of the Ares Australian Direct Lending Fund. The fund is Ares's Australian operations first resident fund launched outside of their joint venture with Fidante.
  • Acting for Alteris Financial Group on the launch of the Millstone Agri Fund, an unregistered closed-end wholesale unit trust, which invests in Australian broadacre assets. The fund consists of stapled units in a real assets trust and an operating trust.
