Bartlomiej Grela advises clients – both banks and borrowers - on financing processes, including financing in the form of credit and the issuance of bonds. He has extensive experience in real estate, corporate and cross-border projects. Furthermore, Bartlomiej has also advised on M&A transactions and represented clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Polish various banks on numerous real estate financing transactions, including development projects and office space purchase projects.*
  • Advising a number of German banks on the Polish law aspects of a EUR65m loan. The financing concerned the acquisition of Polish enterprises from the food products industry.*
  • Advising several foreign investment funds on adjusting transactional documentation regarding the financing of companies involved in the maintenance of railway lines throughout Europe. The transaction consisted of mezzanine financing and securing claims under a parallel debt arrangement.*
  • Advising a British investment fund on financing the acquisition of a number of Polish companies from the food industry, including the preparation and negotiation of transaction security documents, accession to financing, and representing the security agent.*
  • Advising a Dutch factoring services company on its entry into the Polish market, including the preparation of factoring documentation (including the factoring agreement and the T&Cs document) and on financing the transactions of the Polish branch.*
