Bill de Jong

Bill is a lawyer in the Securities and Capital Markets group. He maintains a practice specializing in the areas of securities (regulatory and stock exchange ‎compliance), mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance, working with both investment banks and ‎issuers, focusing on initial public offerings, bought deal prospectus offerings, reverse take-overs, capital pool companies, private placements, takeover bids, plans of arrangement and corporate reorganizations.

Bill also works with entrepreneurs in advancing start-up enterprises and providing practical and ‎business-orientated advice to his clients. ‎

In addition to his private practice experience, Bill has spent several years as in-house counsel and as a corporate ‎development professional for Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange listed companies, in addition to acting as a director for multiple public, private and not-for-profit entities.
