About

Rogerio Campos is a partner of Campos Mello Advogados with almost 20 years’ experience in the Oil&Gas and Shipping sectors. 

 

In O&G, he advises domestic and international companies, with special emphasis on regulatory issues and the Petrobras bidding system, often advising his clients in complex Petrobras bids and negotiations, assessing main risks and liabilities, clarification requests and filing administrative appeals. 

 

Rogerio also works with Maritime Law, offshore services and shipbuilding, including revision and negotiations of financing and respective collateralization, building, chartering and operation contracts, along with assisting its clients with all regulatory requirements of navigation companies and flag issues.

PriorExperience

In the early 2000’s Rogério was seconded to Petrobras for more than two years where he gained significant experience with the Petrobras bid process and contract negotiations in areas such as shipbuilding and refinery construction.

Between 2015-2016 Rogerio acted as foreign associate within the Latin America desk of a US Law firm in New York City.
