David Cadena focuses his practice on real estate and land use matters. His work involves assisting developers and investors on matters relating to land use entitlement, zoning, and environmental law. David also assists developers, private equity funds, REITS, and other institutional clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, ground leasing, and leasing of commercial real properties across a range of asset classes.   • Represented an investment firm in the US$140 million acquisition and financing of an industrial building in Glendale, Arizona
  • Represented a developer in connection with the US$100 million acquisition and US$45 million loan of a senior living facility located in Carlsbad, California
  • Represented a data center developer in the acquisition of 624 acres of vacant land in Texas for the development of a three-building data center
  • Represented a hotel, assisting in a writ of mandate action against the City of Los Angeles, setting aside the City’s attempt to rescind an administrative decision in favor of the client regarding the Residential Hotel Ordinance
  • Represented a film and television production company, assisting in the defense of a breach of contract dispute
  • Represented a restaurant chain with the acquisitions and ground leasing of sites nationwide
