Philip Allenby has experience in private equity, international M&A, early stage ventures and group reorganisations. He has particular experience of advising on complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.

Philip acts for institutional investors, corporates, and management teams in the UK and internationally and has represented a wide range of clients on deals across different industry sectors including technology, manufacturing, financial services, leisure, and healthcare.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advised Wireless Logic (a portfolio company of Montagu) in relation to the acquisitions of Jola Cloud Solutions, Mobius Networks and Blue Wireless.
  • Advised Duke Street LLP on its acquisition of Voyage Care and its acquisition of Kent Pharmaceuticals and Athlone Laboratories.
  • Advised the Carlyle Group on its acquisition of a majority stake in Livingstone Technologies from a group of its founding investors.
  • Advised LDC in relation to the disposal of Capital Economics to Phoenix Equity Partners.
  • Advised Ares and aPriori Capital in relation to the disposal of Inspiring Learning to Bridgepoint.
  • Advised Holland & Barrett in relation to the implementation of its management incentive plan. 
  • Advised ARM Holdings plc on the acquisition of Apical Limited for USD350m.
