DLA Piper bolsters South Korea offering with Corporate partner hire in Seoul

DLA Piper has appointed Jang Yeo as a Corporate partner in its Seoul office.

Jang joins from Greenberg Traurig where he was a partner in the corporate practice, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets, foreign investment, private equity transactions and other general corporate matters. Jang has executed numerous high-profile transactions and has advised Korean companies on some of the most complex cross-border deals.

Jang received his Bachelor of Arts from Korea University and holds a JD from Columbia Law School. He trained at a prestigious US law firm in both New York and Hong Kong, before moving to Seoul in 2012 to join a leading Korean law firm. Jang is qualified in New York and is registered as a foreign legal consultant in the Republic of Korea.
