DLA Piper sweeps up at the 2024 ITR Awards

DLA Piper has been recognised as Tax Law Firm of the Year, Indirect Tax Law Firm of the Year and Transfer Pricing Law Firm of the Year in addition to winning 11 other awards at the annual International Tax Review (ITR) Awards held last night. The awards were held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Tower Bridge in London.

London-based partner Richard Woolich bagged the award for Indirect Tax Attorney of the Year while legal directors Clara Boyd and Lauren Redhead (London) were named Indirect Tax Law Firm Rising Star and Tax Litigation & Disputes Law Firm Rising Star. Transfer pricing director Stephanie Pearson was adjudged the winner in the Transfer Pricing Law Firm Rising Star category.

The firm was also named winner in the following country-specific categories:

  • United Kingdom Tax Firm of the Year
  • Denmark Indirect Tax Firm of the Year
  • Germany Tax Litigation Law Firm of the Year
  • Hungary Indirect Tax Law Firm of the Year
  • Hungary Tax Litigation Law Firm of the Year
  • Hungary Transfer Pricing Law Firm of the Year

DLA Piper was also awarded in the following litigation-specific categories:

  • Impact Case of the Year: Luxembourg and Engie v Commission
  • Impact Deal of the Year: Candy Capital joint venture with DWTCA
