DLA Piper Argentina advises Roxom Ltd. in its US$4.3 million pre-seed funding round
DLA Piper Argentina advised Roxom, a Bitcoin-based trading platform, in the completion of a pre-startup funding round of US$4.3 million.
The capital raised will be employed for the development and expansion of the company’s platform, as well as the implementation of new functionalities that will strengthen the integration of Bitcoin into financial trading.
Roxom bills itself as the first exchange to list and name stocks, commodities and futures in Bitcoin. The platform allows users to view global markets and transact using Bitcoin, rather than traditional fiat currencies.
The DLA Piper team was led by partner Antonio Arias and included associate Ignacio Bard (both in Buenos Aires).
