DLA Piper Australia announces senior promotions

DLA Piper is pleased to confirm senior promotions across its four Australian offices. Internationally, there were 219 senior lawyers from 25 countries in the promotions round.

“These promotions are a major career milestone and recognise the hard work and commitment of each individual. This year, 83 per cent of our senior lawyer promotions are female, demonstrating our strong talent pipeline,” said Amber Matthews, Australia Managing Partner, DLA Piper.

The senior lawyer promotions in Australia follows the 1 May 2024 appointment of Sarah Wilson (Corporate, Melbourne) and Cate Martin (Pro Bono, Sydney) to the partnership.

We are also pleased to congratulate Rob Henham, who has been promoted to Senior Advisor with our management consulting business DLA Piper Business Advisory. Our lawyers work with the Business Advisory team on providing legal and consulting advice on projects across areas of ESG, M&A and strategic business change.
