DLA Piper advises CData in US$350 million growth capital

DLA Piper advised CData, a leading provider of data connectivity solutions, in receiving approximately US$350 million in growth capital from Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth investor, with participation from Accel, an American venture capital firm.

The funding round will allow CData to accelerate its investments in building data integration solutions for customers, as well as continue its mission of simplifying data connectivity for enterprises, users, and applications by investing in operations, product development, and go-to-market strategy.

The DLA Piper team was led by US Chair and Global Co-Chair of the Private Equity practice Joey Silver (Atlanta) and included partner Jeremy Corcoran (Atlanta) and associates JJ Gotlieb and Shane Plavin (both in Atlanta) and Maria Rydder (New York).
