DLA Piper advises Catella Real Estate on the sale of a property on the “Neue Balan” campus in Munich to NEXT Generation Invest AG
DLA Piper has advised Catella Real Estate AG on the sale of an educational property for the public fund Catella MAX on the “Neue Balan” campus in Munich to a Luxembourg special AIF of NEXT Generation Invest AG.
The property at the Claudius-Keller-Straße 7 is located in the eastern part of Munich, close to the up-and-coming Werksviertel district and is part of the “Neue Balan” campus. The campus is a modern office campus with around 200,000 sqm of rental space with a focus on sustainability.
Built in 1956, the office building was extensively renovated as part of the campus development in 2010 and specifically expanded for university and school use. In 2017, Catella Real Estate AG carried out a high-quality extension with an additional staggered floor, giving the property more than 6,704 sqm on five floors.
Catella Real Estate AG, headquartered in Munich, Germany, manages real estate special funds and advises on real estate investments. The company currently manages assets of EUR7.4 billion in 20 real estate funds.
