DLA Piper advises nCino on DocFox acquisition

DLA Piper, acting as South African local counsel, has advised nCino, a leading global financial technology company, on the USD75 million acquisition of DocFox, a global end-to-end software solution and onboarding service provider for commercial and business banks.

Johannesburg-based DocFox helps to simplify and automate the onboarding and account opening process for commercial and business banking. The software will be integrated into nCino’s technology stable, to help financial institutions offer a wider range of services to their clients.

The DLA Piper transaction team, acting as South African local counsel, was led by Amy Eliason (Director, Corporate) and supported by Andrew Lewis (Director, Head of Tax), Monique Jefferson (Director, Employment), Callie-Jo Bouman (Associate, Corporate) and Christoph Berndt (Associate, Tax).
