Legal 500 Green Guide EMEA recognises 17 DLA Piper locations for their sustainability and transition credentials
For the third consecutive year, global law firm DLA Piper has been recognised in the Legal 500 Green Guide for EMEA, which recognises law firms’ efforts towards fostering the green transition and dedication to sustainability and climate conscious legal practice.
DLA Piper’s teams in Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Spain were once again recognised in the guide, with the 2024 edition also noting the firm’s work in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Sweden, and the UAE.
The guide considers a whole spectrum of firm operations from client work and client tools, to integrating sustainability into internal operations, and the active promotion of the transition through thought leadership and external engagements.
Natasha Luther-Jones, International Head of Sustainability & ESG, commented “Our inclusion in The Legal 500 Green Guide for EMEA for the third consecutive year is recognition of the market-leading work we do with our clients across the region, supporting them on their sustainability journeys. With sustainability being one of the key pillars of our firm’s strategy, it’s fantastic to see the increase in locations recognised this year.”
The Green Guide inclusion follows DLA Piper’s recent recognition as the leading law firm in the Impactvise ESG law firm ranking of 1,000 global firms, and the firm’s receipt of the Terra Carta Seal from The Sustainable Markets Initiative. The Seal recognises global companies which are actively leading the charge to create a climate and Nature-positive future.
