DLA Piper strengthens Asia finance, projects and energy capabilities with new partner hire in Seoul

DLA Piper has appointed Brian Youn as a partner in its Finance, Projects and Restructuring (FPR) practice, based in Seoul.

Brian joins from Milbank, where he was a Counsel in the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance practice in Seoul. Brian is a leading finance lawyer, with an extensive track record in advising major financial institutions, including Korean ECAs, sponsors, investment advisers, investment banks and airlines in various contexts. He has particular experience in financing the development of EV and large-scale energy, oil and gas, mining and other infrastructure projects.

Qualified in New York, Brian is a native Korean speaker and is also proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
