DLA Piper advises Bracia Sadownicy in the new investment from Syntaxis Capital and joining forces with Victoria Cymes
The law firm DLA Piper has advised Bracia Sadownicy and its founders in the process of acquiring Victoria Cymes and finding a minority investor - Syntaxis Capital fund. The acquisition was financed by a mezzanine loan, provided by Syntaxis Capital.
Bracia Sadownicy is a producer of natural juices and beverages, notably pressed apple juices.
Victoria Cymes is one of the largest producers of beverages in Poland, with a history dating back to 1981. The company's portfolio currently includes more than 160 products, including syrups, beverages and water in addition to fresh juices, HPP-fixed juices, pasteurized juices and smoothies.
The transaction was led by Michał Banasiak with the support of Jakub Niemiec and under the supervision of Jakub Domalik-Plakwicz from the corporate/M&A team.
In terms of financing, advice was provided by Aleksander Haleniuk with the support of Szymon Piotrowski and Jakub Wiatrzyk from the finance, projects and restructuring practice of DLA Piper's Warsaw office.
