DLA Piper advised Bond Brand Loyalty in strategic investment

On May 9, 2023, Bond Brand Loyalty (“Bond”), a leading customer experience, loyalty, and growth firm, announced a strategic investment in its business from Mountaingate Capital (“Mountaingate”), a Colorado-based, growth-focused private equity investment firm that partners with founders and entrepreneurial companies to accelerate growth and build industry leaders.

This strategic investment by Mountaingate follows a strong period of growth for Bond and reflects the potential for further expansion in both reach and offerings to better serve clients. Bond has expanded to become a global entity with more than 800 people in offices across North America and Europe serving clients across sectors as diverse as retail, mobility, healthcare, and financial services. Bond recently broadened operations in Europe; unveiled a new personalization platform – Synapze XI™ – and launched BondX, a full-service agency offering.

Ted Maduri, the DLA Piper Canada lead Partner on the deal said, “We are thrilled for the Bond team, their new partners, Mountaingate Capital and Bond shareholders on the closing of this transaction. We are so pleased to have gotten to work with both teams, and for the trust they placed in us.  We have no doubt that this transformative transaction will propel Bond to even greater heights.”

Bob Macdonald, CEO of Bond, said “"Mountaingate is an ideal strategic partner to help Bond drive scale at this important juncture of Bond’s history. We are pleased that DLA has been part of this journey and look forward to continuing to work with DLA as we continue to grow and expand."
