DLA Piper partner Casey Sobhani named a Real Estate Leader in Law finalist by the Los Angeles Business Journal

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Casey Sobhani, co-location head of the firm’s Los Angeles Real Estate practice, was named a Leader in Law finalist by the Los Angeles Business Journal in the “Real Estate Attorney of the Year” category.

In a profile, the publication described Sobhani as a “preeminent leasing attorney well known in Los Angeles for his strong community ties” whose work “includes many of the most prominent and iconic buildings” in the city.

“Sobhani was a key part of firmly establishing Los Angeles as a hub for the firm’s vast leasing practice,” according to the profile. “Although Sobhani’s practice these days is national, his highest transaction volume still flows through the Los Angeles area.”

Sobhani also serves as head of the firm’s Leasing practice. He is directly responsible for managing and handling the legal work for millions of square feet of commercial office, industrial and retail space across the nation. In this capacity, he is a trusted advisor to some of the biggest institutional real estate owners and managers in the world. He also represents buyers and sellers of commercial real estate in various high-profile and complex transactions.
