William Mulholland joins DLA Piper’s Patent Prosecution practice in Phoenix
DLA Piper announced today that William Mulholland has joined the firm’s Patent Prosecution practice and Life Sciences sector as a partner in Phoenix.
Mulholland focuses on patent prosecution and counseling related to licensing, litigation and procurement. His life sciences practice includes small molecule chemistry and biologic therapeutics, as well as diagnostics, drug discovery and drug delivery. His agribusiness practice similarly focuses on chemical and biologic-based active ingredients, as well as formulation and chemical process technologies.

Mulholland joins from Snell & Wilmer LLP, where he served as co-chair of the Life Sciences and Medical Technology group. He received his J.D. from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, his M.A. in molecular biology from Brown University and his B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Arizona.
